Portable Dispatch Command Center – Under $600!

We were recently asked to set up an efficient and affordable backup for dispatching at an E911 center.  A recent power disruption had temporarily disabled the ability to dispatch fire calls.  They needed something that would get back on the air quickly. We did it, and we did it for less than $600! That little Walkie Talkie looking thing at the left is a Portable Dispatch Command Center or PDCC.  From the palm of their hand, the dispatchers can send tone alerts out to as many as ten different departments, even if they are on different channels.  Incoming calls can be monitored, answered, and even RECORDED!
A pair of our little PDCC’s can provide the functionality of two dispatch positions, console, and recorder.  Better yet, our “console” can move around anywhere in the dispatch center or even to an alternate location if necessary.
As far as the message recorder is concerned, a PDCC equipped dispatcher can have instant recall of the last few messages at the push of a button by monitoring both sides of the conversation on a companion unit.  No dispatch center should be without a pair of PDCC’s!
Want to see how they work?  Just give us a call at 205.854.2611 or drop us an email to ServingU@falcondirect.com.  Speaking of backups, you also need to know about our InstaLerter™, a fantastic little gadget that can instantly tell you in dispatch control link radios and associated repeaters are operational.  This capability can help earn extra rating points for fire departments.  Additional information is available by clicking here.

Best Buy UHF portable radio - $149!

A  brand new 256 channel, 4 watt UHF portable 2-way radio with full alphanumeric display, compact size, long life battery with charger and much more can be yours for just $149 including five pre-programmed license free business band channels.

The TC-580 by Hytera, the second largest 2-way radio manufacturer in the world, is all the radio that most UHF users will ever need.  It is ideal for business, church, construction, hospital, institutional, retail, and manufacturing.

You don't have to spend a lot of money to narrow band and "fix up" older radios. The TC-580 doesn't cost much more than a battery for many public safety grade radios, yet it is ideal for use by Fire. EMS, and Law Enforcement users who do not need 2-tone selective call paging.  Additional information is available by clicking here.  If you are ready to order, click here.

The TC-580 is also available as a VHF 5 watt model for use on PRIMARY frequencies operating in the narrow band mode (i.e. existing VHF seven digit frequencies such as 155.010 that are approved for both standard 15 kHz channel spacing as well as the new 7.5 kHz channel spacing).  The TC-580VHF model is not suitable for use on narrow band only (i.e. eight digit frequencies such as 155.1725).  For more information on the use of the TC-580 on VHF frequencies, click here or if you want to check a specific frequency for use on any HYT TC Series radio, click here to be directed to a neat little site.  You just insert your frequency, and all compatible (and incompatible models) will be displayed.  Too bad every manufacturer doesn't offer such a service!

If you have questions, or need assistance in any way, please give us a call at 800.489.2611 or drop us an email to ServingU@falcondirect.com.

Trade up to Digital - Save a LOT of money!

It's trade-in time!  Your current radios still have value, even those that won't narrow band, but come January 1, 2013, they will have NO value!  In fact, continuing to use non-narrow band radios beginning next year will be illegal!

So, if you want to make the best deal, the time to do it is NOW! Speaking of deals, here's ours! Between now and October 31, 2012, we will give you $125 each for ANY commercial grade Motorola portable or mobile radio (FRS and GMRS radios excluded) when you purchase a new Hytera DMR radio.

DMR is the same standard as used by MotoTRBO.  Ordinarily, we can provide a MotoTRBO compatible radio with more features, more power, a better warranty, and lower prices at regular prices.  With our trade in allowance, we can offer a radio with both analog and digital capabilities for LESS than you might expect to pay for an analog only radio such as the HT1250 or CDM1250 from Motorola.

Want to know how MUCH less?  Just drop us an email to ServingU@falcondirect.com. You are in for a VERY pleasant surprise!  Speaking of surprises, did you know that Hytera is now the second largest 2-way radio manufacturer in the WORLD?  Try a few Hytera radios and you'll see why!  Additional information on Hytera and DMR radios is available at www.info4u.us/DMR.pdf

Introducing - A total 2-way radio narrow banding solution for $10 per radio!

The MAJORITY of church, school, 2-way radio users as well as hospitality, institutional, and many commercial and governmental users do NOT have a valid FCC license for operation of VHF or UHF 2-way radios.  Those that have licenses are often erroneously being told that they have to upgrade to digital. For many, this can be a real problem!

As 2012 draws to an end, the lies will become more creative as some unscrupulous radio suppliers try to take advantage of an FCC requirement for all VHF and UHF radio users to narrow band by the end of this year.  Many 2-way users will blissfully continue to operate their licensed (or unlicensed) radios in the mistaken belief that the enforcement of these narrow banding rules simply will not happen.

The fact is that taking the advice of someone who does not have your best interest in mind or sticking your head in the sand can be a potentially be a VERY costly alternative.  If you would like an example, click here. That is why we are making a most unusual offer.

Send us your existing radios.  We will reprogram them to narrow band for a flat rate of just TEN DOLLARS PER RADIO and you pay the shipping.  If you don't have an FCC license, we will make you legal and we will do it AT NO COST!  We can generally have your radios on the way back to you within 48 hours after receipt.  If some of your radios will not convert to narrow band, we will show you some very creative ways to replace, upgrade, or add more radios on terms that will fit your budget!

Want more information?  Just give us a call at 800.489.2611. If you are ready to send your radios now, just ship them to Falcon Direct at #36 - 20th Avenue NW - Birmingham, AL 35215.  Put your contact information in with the radios.  We will call you as soon as we have evaluated your licensing compliance issues and equipment suitability for narrow banding.  We will then prepare an action plan tailored specifically for YOUR needs. If you are not 100% satisfied with our recommendation and action plan, we will return your radios and you don't owe a dime.  On the other hand, ten bucks a radio is a pretty good deal when you consider than we can take care of your TOTAL requirements. Whatever you do, do it soon - time is running out!

P.S.  If you are anywhere within the state of Alabama, call us at 205.854.2611 and we'll come to you!  Same price - just $10 per radio and you eliminate shipping charges.  All you pay is a dollar per mile (one way) to cover our travel expenses. Nobody can take better care of you at less cost than Falcon Direct - guaranteed!
