Digital Radios for UNDER $500!

As most of our readers know, DMR (Hytera/MotoTRBO), NXDN (IDAS) and APCO 25 (P25) are the basic digital technologies used in the USA.  Each has a specific user benefit which is a topic for another time.  The major resistance to digital technology, until now, can be summed up in one word – COST!

The only technology currently capable of operating at 6.25 kHz Very Narrow Band, as proposed by the FCC, is NXDN (ICOM calls it IDAS), and it is by far, the most efficient multi-site operating system (think IP Site Connect).  As a long term investment, nothing else even comes close to IDAS and now, nothing else even comes close in terms of initial cost.

Beginning TODAY, you can purchase a radio that will operate in either analog or digital modes on 25, 12.5, or 6.25 kHz channels for UNDER $500! Both portables and mobiles are available in your choice of VHF or UHF.  They are fully compatible with all analog, DMR, NXDN, and P25 radios in the analog mode as well as NXDN digital conventional, multi-site, and trunking.  Oh, by the way – GPS is available as a low cost option as well!
